Sep 19th, 2007 Who knew a picture of 4 dudes in tighty whities could get you suspended from school for three days?A pretty amazing story has surfaced regarding the latest All Time Low promo photo for their new album So Wrong, It's Right which comes out next Tuesday, September 25th on Hopeless Records.
A girl by the name of "Rea" who goes to school in ATL's home state of Maryland at Magnolia Middle School in Harford County was suspended from school for THREE DAYS for having
this photo
hanging outside her locker.
Here's what Rea had to say about the situation: "I'm annoyed and bothered by the fact my principle called the picture 'porn' . I've seen way worse Chris Brown pictures."
Rea began serving her three day suspension on Monday.
Is All Time Low on your radar yet? They should be! This band is going to shock people with their first week sales figures in a couple weeks, their debut album
So Wrong, It's Right is out this Tuesday, September 25th. ATL might just be the #1 pop punk buzz band on the scene right now...Fresh out of high school, they've sold over 60,000 copies of their debut EP Put Up Or Shut Up, 42% digitally (which is a HUGE #). It's been completely organic as they've been developing a rabid fanbase online and on the road. They were on Warped Tour all summer (selling between 2-3,000 EP's a week) and the crowds continued to grow bigger and bigger at every show. They just got back from the UK w/Plain White T's and finished a quick US run with The Starting Line. October/November brings a huge two month US tour with Boys Like Girls which is going to be completely out of control.

Sep 18th, 2007 PLAIN WHITE T’S HIT THE ROAD WITH FALL OUT BOY ON “THE YOUNG WILD THINGS TOUR”BAND TO PERFORM NEW SINGLE “OUR TIME NOW”
ON THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO OCTOBER 10
Armed with a blockbuster hit single ("Hey There Delilah") and a gold-certified album (Every Second Counts), the juggernaut known as Plain White T's continues to steamroll ahead. The band’s latest headline-making move will take place this fall when they’ll join Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes and Cute Is What We Aim For on “The Young Wild Things Tour” which kicks off on October 18th in Columbus, OH.
The Chicago-based PWT’s, who recently won a Teen Choice Award for “Choice Summer Song,” were nominated for an MTV Video Music Award (for "Monster Single of the Year"), and were spotlighted in Time magazine, have enjoyed a string of successes lately beginning with their summer smash "Hey There Delilah" hitting #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart, as well as #1 on the iTunes Top Songs Chart (a spot which it held for four weeks). The single is currently one of the most played songs in the country across all formats. In addition, the video clip is #1 at VH1 and in heavy rotation at MTV, Fuse and MTV Hits. The momentum has also spread internationally with a gold album in the UK and #1 records in five countries (UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand and the Netherlands). The band will be back doing a string of headlining dates through out the UK and Europe starting in January 2008.
Wanting to give their fans a little more of themselves, The Plain White T’s recently released Every Second Counts Deluxe Edition, which includes a live concert DVD recorded earlier this year in Chicago. The audio CD also includes an exclusive bonus track: “Hold On.”
Along with their fall tour, the band’s preparing to release their new single “Our Time Now” which they will perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on October 10th. The single will also be introduced to fans as ESPN’s theme song for their college football coverage.
In other band news, the quintet is returning for the second season of GREEK. The band will tape their first episode for season two on September 26 in Los Angeles. The episode will air in early 2008.

Sep 18th, 2007 A7X Hit The Road This FallSELF-TITLED ALBUM ON OCTOBER 30TH ON WARNER BROS. RECORDS
Burbank, CA - Avenged Sevenfold will hit the road for a U.S. tour kicking off on October 29th in Los Angeles to promote their self-titled, self-produced album for Warner Bros. Records due out October 30th. Avenged Sevenfold marks the Huntington Beach, CA quintet's fourth album, which is the follow-up to 2006's City of Evil, which spawned three hit singles including the Modern Rock smash "Bat Country," which also earned them an MTV Video Music Award.
With Avenged Sevenfold, the band - frontman M. Shadows, guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ, and drummer The Rev - let their eclectic musical influences come through. "All those months touring behind City of Evil, we were listening to everything from Toby Keith to T.I., finding inspiring elements from other genres to incorporate into our music," says Shadows. Despite the wide range of musical inspirations, there is no doubt that the album is trademark Avenged Sevenfold.
The New York Times calls the album "...an all-out bid for modern-rock radio hegemony." The first single, "Critical Acclaim," is currently available for purchase on iTunes and other online retailers.
The band is known for dynamic live shows fueled by their innovative rock and rabid fan base. It's that electrifying spirit that has helped Avenged Sevenfold do what few bands before have accomplished - to become the only band to headline Warped Tour and Ozzfest, and be #1 on MTV's TRL at the same time. Come see for yourself!
